If you are planning to use a darker combination like red-black then outlining the font alphabets with white can make them stand out.

The last but not the least aspect is the shape of the banner. You need to choose a shape that will fit into your design concept with ease. You can choose the standard rectangular design or the square banner or you can choose from different types of geometrical and abstract shapes like triangle, like a sail, a hexagon etc. Whatever you choose, remember the keyword here is: impact!
