There are many different signs of a relationship going bad. If you will keep yourself objective and open to the signs, it can save you some pain. The break up of a relationship is always a tough thing to deal with, but staying in a relationship that isn’t healthy is worse than moving on and being by yourself. There are a few key signs that you can look for to know whether or not you should end your relationship. These signs do not always spell disaster, but in many cases, they do. Overall, communication is the ultimate way to make this decision, but keeping an eye out for signs of trouble is always a good idea.

One thing you might look for is the when your loved one hurries off the phone when he or she is talking to you. Watch for times that they seem like they can’t wait to end the conversation. It could mean that they something or someone else on their minds. This is by no means a sure sign that your loved one wants to leave. The simple suggestion is to be aware and cautious with this type of occurrence in a situation.

One more indicator that your love is looking to leave is if you are constantly fighting. There are times when couples don’t get along, but it should never be a constant everyday thing. Even worse than simply fighting with your loved-one is fighting over trivial matters. This is a sign that you may be getting tired of each other. Many times, one part of a relationship picks insignificant fights with the other trying to get the other person to break up with them. They get the freedom they seek while not having to be the bad guy or gal that directly causes the break up.

Another way your significant other may be hinting that they want to leave is that you can’t get them to talk about a future with you. If they are avoiding talk of heavier commitment, you may have a person that is not looking for commitment. When you can’t get your lover to make plans weeks ahead, much less years, that has got to make you take some serious time to think about your current situation.

Also when keeping an eye out for reasons for ending a bad relationship, keep an eye out for a loss of interest in sex. This could be an indicator that he or she is definitely not as interested in the relationship any longer. This is a big occurrence in a relationship. This sign is impossible to miss and could mean bad things for your relationship.

One final thing to watch out for when you are watching for signs that your relationship is in trouble is if your significant other wants "space" away from you or to "see other people". This is a sure sign of your loved one backing off from or backing out of the relationship. As soon as you agree to this type of suggestion, don’t count on your relationship moving any further.

Most of these scenarios don’t mean for sure that the relationship is breaking down, but they certainly aren’t positive signs and combined, things don’t look good. While you shouldn’t be paranoid because it can damage a relationship, be smart and discerning. Watch for signs because many of these signs are so obvious they are almost smacking you in the face. Want the best advice? Communicate with your love one. It will not hurt less if you put things off. Get your emotions out there if you think there is something wrong in your relationship.
