In this 21st century, there has been an increasing demand in the responsibilities and priorities of CFOs, Financial Controllers, Financial Directors, and senior financial executives. The CFO and CEO should work close with each other on financial operations to achieve success of organizational strategy. Keeping this objective in mind, marcus evans hosted in July, 2007, the 21st Century CFO Congress at Kuala Lumpur to discuss the problems of Financial Directors and CFOs in Asia Pacific.

The Congress focused on various subjects ranging from corporate performance to compliance and generating profit to minimizing cost by better use of company resources and assets. The main aim of the Congress was to create an ideal platform to deal with day to day problems faced by financial decision makers in the Asian corporate sector today. The objectives of the Congress focused on the performance of CFOs in financial sector.

The event was a great success with the attendance of over 120 CFOs from Asian countries including Malaysia, Singapore, Japan, Thailand, Korea and Middle East. The congress included items like open exhibition held by solution providers to help the achievement of excellence in financial organizations. The Congress had interesting line up of reputed key note speakers from Government and top companies like Standard Chartered, Melioris, TNT Express Worldwide, DHL, Siemens, BASF and Shinsei Bank. Apart from this the Congress also had exhibitors from key companies including MasterCard, Amadeus, Tangoe Inc., Cognos, etc. There were plenty of visitors in the Conference exhibition area to learn new technologies and products in the financial sector. The agenda of the Congress focused on the role of CFOs, outsourcing, business process management, governance and risk management. The congress provided a good networking opportunity between solution providers and clients and also served as a great platform for sharing knowledge with each other.

The participants of the high profile conference were highly delighted by the company of CFOs and finance leaders from Asia. The conference provided an opportunity to showcase services, outsourcing solutions and share valuable experiences with appropriate customer segment.
